A company, now operating nationally, faces a pressing issue of increased employee turnover.
Exit interviews reveal dissatisfaction linked to work-life balance and difficulties adapting to remote work.
Addressing these concerns is crucial not only for employee satisfaction, but also for potential cost savings in recruitment, onboarding, and productivity losses during transitions.
To address this problem, an e-Learning module with Articulate Rise 360 was proposed because it offers a fast, cost-effective, and flexible training solution accessible to learners nationwide.
Using the platform's responsive output, even on mobile devices, allows learners to practice anytime, anywhere, engaging with low-stakes scenarios that foster thoughtful decision-making. In addition, the design facilitates quick revisions, allowing the company to update and easily adapt the course as needed.
After experiencing this module, employees will gain skills of how to use their environment, time and digital tools to navigate remote work challenges effectively.
Since most of the learning in this course occurs without sound, I wanted to give the learner control of the audio within a branched scenario to accommodate diverse learning preferences.
Text and Boolean variables in a Storyline 360 block were used to customize a knowledge check and personalize their e-Learning experience in a real-world scenario.
To encourage the retention and application of learning, I used a wide variety of interactions, such as interactive markers to help the learner visualize and gain insight on the importance of their work environment.
If a learner wanted to gain a comprehensive understanding of how to utilize Google Calendar for effective time blocking, I embedding a video edited in Camtasia, complete with closed captions and chapters.
